I don't know much, but I would think the 52 is the date.

Probably so.I like the ice cream on the back,thats the main reason i bought it,who doesn't like ice cream,right?[]

After seacrhing ebay it seem that there are several versions of this bottle with different things on the back,none with ice cream on ebay though,maybe its a little harder to find.

If you go HERE and down to Lamb then Liberty it looks as though 52 was a common thing. I'm not sure why but it may not be the year. Definitely closer than '36 though.[]
