Purchased this nice milk bottle. 7" tall. ONE PINT LIQUID embossed on one side and a triangle with an "I" above the word "MINN". Below that, is "SEALED" and "1-11-14". Could this be from 1914? The bottom side has the mark: MTC. Two seams do not go through the lip. Let me know the value, other info, meaning of symbols. Thank you.

mTc mark (probably Thatcher Co. - but this mark of theirs didn't start 'til 1923)

I couldn't find "I" in a triangle, mostly "MINN" is just an abbreviation for Minnesota, but there is a possibility for the "MTC":

www.myinsulators.com

says M T C was Thatcher Manufacturing Co., Kane, PA, & Wharton, NJ, other locations in later years, and that a large "T" with a little "m" & little "c" was used approx 1923 thru 1950, and was usually on milk bottles...

Maybe?[8|]
