Hello, your milk probably dates to the 1930s but if look very, very closely on the bottom there should be a date. It’s near the edge and it will say like 34 which stands for 1934. Because this bottle doesn’t have a state marked on it I was just wondering where you were from.
on the bottom it has 5c in the center 'duraglass' handwritten across and '23' then a strange symbol and then '30'. so its 1930?. kern county is in southern california. its also a river. there are alot of digs there. its beautiful there. its a 2 hour drive from where i live.
Well, I didn’t realize it said Duraglas on the bottom. Here a bit of history on it: Duraglas..............Owens Illinois Glass Company, Toledo, OH (1929-to date). Trademark used after 1940. "Diamond superimposed over an oval and I" mark.
This means that your bottle had to be made in the 1940s because by 1950 just about all milk bottles were square and not round. The numbers don’t connect with a date on this milk bottle as far as I know.
