Milk White Bottle ?

Found this in 1940's context. No discernible seams, No markings bottom or elsewhere and a lot of imperfections. Any idea of what it was for?

I'd guess it would be some sort of perfume or fragrance. It is screwtop, and by the looks of it 1940's-60's, though I've seen very modern milk glass bottles in related shapes. I can almost guaruntee it has a seamline, look very closely, they can be VERY hard to see on bottles like that.
