I found this really awesome bottle, well awesome to me, while cleaning out the attic! I have never heard or seen anything quite like it and would like to know a little history if anyone can help.

The bottle is a colbalt blue glass, measures 3.25 x 2.5 x 1.25 deep, and apx. 3.25" tall. It is a screw top mouth apx. 1.25 in diameter. The front of the bottle says, "MILNESIA WAFERS", "The pleasant way to take milk of magnesia, Milnesia Lab Inc. New York, N.Y. ". In raised letters, "U. S. A." is printed on the bottom.

There is also a "W, M, M, W" symbol flanked with the words, "Trade Mark"

Any date ideas, or is this a less commen bottle?

I've dug plenty of Milk of Magnesia bottles, but I've never dug one of those and I live in New England, also.
It looks to be from the 1940-1960 era although it may date earlier.
If it was common I would have dug one.
Nice find!!!

I have the same bottle dug from the old dump in Cape May, New Jersey. It is the only one I've seen too, although there are many milk of magnesias there. Love the bottle!
