All interested in a contract (limited outdoor, rain or shine tailgate space available) for the Museum of Connecticut Glass's 9th annual show, sale, exhibit and tours for Saturday, May 18, 2013 should go to www.glassmuseum.org to the Coming Events page and click on show contract to copy a contract for this year's show.

If interested in membership ($10 per individual, $15 family OR other levels of membership), go to the Coming Events page and click on membership for an application. Members are growing around the nation among those who are collectors, etc. of Connecticut early glass from the almost one dozen 18th and 19th century glass companies. Members range from the New England states to New York and South Carolina.

Early 19th century photo of the Capt. John Turner house(circa 1840s) is attached. It serves as the Museum's main building. Turner was the principal manager of the two-pot, two-blower factory (production of 150 bottles per day per blower). He ran the company store in the rear quarter of the house. The Museum owns this house from a deed from the Connecticut General Assembly given around 1994.
