Finally got my cabinet built for my Dads Root Beer collection. The bad thing is it's full already! Anyway, I thought you guys might enjoy looking at my collection. I hope you can see the bottles clearly enough. It's all about the variations! . Be sure and check out my "Big Daddy" collection on the top self, some of my favorites! The bottles you can't see in the back on the top self are mostly extras. Let me know what you think!

Sad to say alot from Ebay, It's really hard to find Dads at antique stores and flea markets but I'm always looking. I have have found some there. I've been collecting bottles since I was a teenager and I worked in a country store. I always grabbed the old ones when they came through and when I started specializing in Dads, I did find a few in my collection in the attic. I've prob been to 30 or 40 flea markets this year. Always looking for leads!

Yes my friend looks to be 1948. If I'm reading it right your bottle was made by Thatcher Manufacturing.

My humble little collection. Smaller because I stop at 1959 and only collect individual size bottles. No Mamas, Papas, quarts, gallons or family size for me... I just don't have the space hahah
