I don't know why I go there...their pricing makes me want to mouthbeat someone...
they had some quart aqua ball jars...for 25 bucks...
i told the guy if he wanted more and wanted to pay me 25 per, i'd be back with a few bags..
i scored a few books for .75 each

1951 better homes and gardens handyman's book
piloting seamanship and small boat handling
the bicycle builder's bible
a long row of candles...

been into some weird books lately...

I'm walking around with my stuff and i see this as i turn the corner...
i'm thinking 200-300 knowing their prices lately....

45bucks....

clean, great shape...good for my son's bedroom ...

I work for Habitat for Humanity in Independence, Missouri. I have the same problem with some of the pricing in our store. The floor managers and pricers ask me what stuff is worth all the time. I finally got them to start looking on ebay at the closed sales and on craigslist. A few weeks ago we sold a SOLID maple dining room table with four side chairs and two captains chairs, a hutch and buffet for $350. In the store, right next to it was a particle board table with four chairs and hutch, with cardboard bottomed drawers for $400. Hmmm.

Thanks for shopping at a Restore. Keep looking for the deals.

Yeah, their pricing is ignorant sometimes.
my father in law was the construction coordinator for Habitat in his county. We spent quite a bit of time working on Habitat houses.

That's a neat find!!! The prices in some of these places kills me! I know I go there looking for deals. Sometimes for myself, sometimes to resale, but when people who do not have a lot of money NEED something, the prices prevent them from buying it. I guess I am partially to blame for their prices? I just don't understand. The local thrift store here charges around $3.99 for a USED shirt... come on now!

Our local thrift stores want 10-17 dollars for used jeans. I could go to Wal-Mart and get new ones for 9.98. Why do they jack up these prices? I just want cheap pants to dig in and do yard work in. But I'm better off buying new ones to do that stuff in.
