my last mystery

ok this is the last piece of glass I cant identify. Im not sure why I picked this one up. Its been described as a witching ball and a lamp. It looks most like the lamp but its not a real match. Ever seen one like it. The bottom is kinda like a Hutch. Get back to me if you know anything. Finally got my camera working. I fell like shooting everything but Ill keep it to the three mysteries I have posted. Thanks again, JB in Nj

I don't think it was ever anything. It looks like an offhand piece, a whimsey, that never got finished. The colors in the bottom look like they were done the same way a glassblower would make a witch ball. But with the top being off-center, it must not have been done with very much skill or effort. I don't know why it would have been blown in the mold. Maybe it was an experiment. The best part ended up on the base, where you can't see it.
