Awesome, Jim!!! Good work!! I really like the matching Morrisons... that's a shame about the Kinch, but rare is rare.. the coffee pot is beautiful.. it is at least silver plated, but I don't know the significance of the markings on the base.. the Wm Allen seems newer than the T & A stuff, I guess Mr Allen dropped ole Tiffany somewhere along the way?

Thanx Charlie, I need to find someone who knows silver, either way I figure the plain creamer that sold for $77 probably is a good indication the coffee pot would do well if I ever decide to sell off my stuff... thanx for the heads up on the Spreitzer by the way....

Hey Jim...

I read your Paterson NJ post with great interest and then I saw the hospital photos..., They are great.!!!
You see, I was born in the Paterson General Hospital and grew up on Peel street. All the homes were bought up in the early sixties for the factories and industrial park that were built there. I used to walk across the Hillman Street bridge to visit my granparents on East Main Street. After we were forced out of our house on that side of the river, we then moved to North First Street. My grandfather had a small store on East Main Street... Mulder's Market... Fruits and vegetables.

Sure brings back some fond memories along the Passaic River. Back then, the river was loaded with carp!!! I wonder how the bottle diving is along the Passaic? Anybody know???? Has the river cleaned up any????

I'd love to dive for some Paterson NJ bottles... any ideas???[:)]

Hi Wayne, the river hasn't been cleaned up enough to dive in unless it's full scuba I would imagine, they keep talking about it but nothing has been done yet. Happy to hear from someone who knows the history and the area...
