This may not apply but there is a reference to Eagle Brewery which sort of fits the TM.

One more thing. Is there a PS on the barrel?

Great sleuthing, Eric!

"Here, we offer a dark amber applied tapered blob embossed in large type HOME. Under this is an eagle perched on a stump with a barrel hanging from his beak. On the end of the barrel is a P over S (P. Stumpf). On either side of the stump the words TRADE MARK are embossed. Under this in three lines: REGISTERED / BREWING CO. / RICHMOND, VA., embossed on the back in three lines: THIS BOTTLE / NOT TO / BE SOLD. It has a smooth base. More than likely, it's a dug bottle with typical light wear from use and a small spot of cleanable stain here and there..." From Flaschenjager.

You're on top of your game, sir. Well done.
