I found this one on the famous west coast auction site by looking under the word "blob" instead of my usual search methods. The words "Crystal Spring Lager" rang a bell as there was a brewery by that name in Syracuse, NY in the 1800's. A look on Google showed only this reference. I went into fultonhistory.com and typed in the the Jones & La Prairie and three or for references to the opening of this liquor, wine and beer distributor in Fulton, New York popped up, all in 1889. Some further hunting revealed a Joseph La Prairie as the LaPrairie but no luck on the Jones yet. It's probably not Charles T Jones of Oswego Falls/Fulton as he was a soda bottler and advertised himself as a temperance man. By 1892 La Prairie was on to other businesses. I have looked in Glassbottlemarks for the logo on the base and can't make a connection yet and also in my copy of Toulouse's "Bottle Maker's". Anyone have a clue as to the maker? I put the logo in two pictures 90 degrees apart.UncleBruce, do you want pictures and the information I have on this one?Gotta love the hunt! Scott
