Hi, this was at an auction yesterday. I didn't go, and didn't see it in person, but I know it's a very early New England torpedo soda. Does anyone know the specific glass works that made it, a specific age range, and what it's worth? I know American Glass Gallery sold one not too long ago but don't have the catalog. It must be one of the coolest sodas out there.

wow, excellent bottle... these are sometimes refereed to as baby bottles and were supposedly used as nursers. I cant answer any of your questions though, I can speculate though. Coventry CT, early 19th century, 2-3 grand?

What Matt said, that's a bottle worth taking a day off of work just to have a chance to bid on it!

American glass galley auction #8 item 181 estimate was $400 to $800 bidding ended at $600. I would agree with tigue on the Coventry attribute as well. Nice find!

Thanks for looking that up. I didn't realize American Glass Gallery past auctions and results are all viewable online.
