New Finds From The Elkton Show

Had a great time at the Elkton, Maryland bottle show today and found some great bottles for my collection. First up is a great scarce blue ACL Dunloggin Farms Dairy milk from Ellicott City. I acquired the very rare red and blue ACL variant with the war slogan a month or so ago so this one with just the blue label was very nice to find. I got it for a very good price too. One of my favorite Ellicott City bottles.

Next up is a pretty scarce local Guernsey Dairy Farms West Friendship, Maryland pint milk. I have owned 5 or 6 of the quarts over the years but this is only the second pint I have ever seen from this dairy. Now I need to find the half pint as well as all 3 sizes with the diamonds on the neck rather than dots.

A nice Baltimore milk. Arcadia Farm-Accredited Herd-Blood Tested. Not an easy bottle to get and a slug plate loaded with embossing. I have not seen many other milks with as much embossing in the slug plate as this one has.

S. Lavitt Dairy-N. Exeter St. Baltimore. A pretty early Baltimore City milk I didn't have.

Barely saw any "steamer" sodas at all. I did find one that I didn't have. John C. Berger Riverside Bottling Works Baltimore, MD. I had one with a loop seal and this one is a blob.

And last but not least a nice "The Thirst Checker" Tri-County Bottling Co. Elkridge, Maryland deco soda. I have always thought these checker design bottles were cool and this is a local one that I have been looking to get for a few years. Hope everyone who went to the show found some nice stuff!
