Thats a nice sign and kind of a hard one to find . I found two of them a good many years ago where the guy was using them to cover two holes on his cistern top . The guy said he would sell them once the old house was torn down and the cistern was filled in . I made the mistake of telling a so called friend about them . When I went to check on the signs later he said that someone took them , I found out later that the so called friend went to the guy and tried to buy them from him . The guy would not sell them to him , and he then told the guy what he thought the signs were worth . So I never knew for sure what actually happened to the signs . I am thinking that someone might have taken them being I was going to pay th guy a fair price for the signs to begin with . I know that I do not go out of the way to tell anyone anything as to things I come across anymore , friend or not . Greed has a way of creeping into a persons well being now and then regardless of who they are it seems .
I would think so Jim , if it is as good on the other side . I sold my last oil sign the other day , it was a four by eight foot Mobil Gasoline sign . It was a metal sign but a decent one . Sold it too cheap I think but I did not lose any money on it . It was a bit rough but where do yuo find them anymore .
