A straight-sided Coca-Cola Providence, RI! Found by a quahogger who gave it to a friend of mine, who I worked out a trade with.

For some reason naive collectors always call this a hutch, but in fact it's just a strange looking squat soda.

Gladstone Springs Water Co. Narragansett Pier, RI
While not a rare local bottle, this is only the second example I've seen in this small squatty size. It looks to be 6oz. or less.

Thanks guys. Steve, the Prov. Coca-Cola usually sells for $80-100 on ebay. I think this one is worth about $30-40 because it's been through the ringer (heavy ocean grinding), and a few nicks. Also, The J.C. Conley building is still standing (with a river behind it nonetheless), so that could be a good place to explore!

What is a quahogger?? LOL Nice Finds - Some rivers and streams are good now with the water so low- found some nice bottles and old wood wagon wheels that's been under water/mud on a stream bank for ??? yrs. The flood of 2010 uncovered some good stuff too.
