As of a few days ago I've been back at it, scouring the woods, creeks, and abandoned railroads for antique bottle/jars/junk. Here's what I've come back with.

Haven't found a legitimately cobalt Blue bottle with embossing yet, so I was excited to find this even if it is fairly common. Also I've never found a brown embossed bottle with a finish like this until now.

Found these guys half buried.

Found these guys sticking out of the side of the ground at the top of a ravine. Top on the middle jar is one I bought (I need to buy more jar lids)

My first round bottom bottle. Yay!

Found two cross arms next to some railroad tracks, now I can properly display these insulators :)

Very nice. I love the Ely's Cream Balm, I have one just like it. Roy

Roy,

Back in the '80s I walked a couple miles of the RR line going through New Britain. All I came out with were partials and a few spikes. It had been picked clean. The ole Naugy line seems to be your lucky charm. Congrats. :)

That's funny that you put me, the Ole Naugy line and lucky in this thread. I was indeed very lucky one time on those tracks. A word of advice, don't ever walk on railroad tracks in a blizzard... Roy

Okeedokie. Perish the thought, but I call dibbs on what is likely to be a great story somewhere "down the line." ;) --L
