Hi all my name is Paul
I am new to bottle collecting as well. I was out hunting meteorites and stumbled across 3 nice bottles ( or maybe they are considered jars ) not sure. I was wondering where I should look to determine the age of the items. One is a dark purple or blue vicks vaporub container with lid Another has watermans on the bottom ( I looked up watermans on google and I believe it is an old ink container but that is all I could figure out ) The last is a Horlicks malted milk lunch tablet bottle ( I found a photo of it on a web site but it did not tell me the age )
I know it is very difficult to give info without photos so I will try to post pics soon. Any help is much appreciated

Hey Paul welcome to the forum.
You were right the "Waterman's" is a ink bottle.The Horlicks jar is from the late1920s-30s so are the other two bottles.

I appreciate the info. I hope to find some more cool bottles tomorrow while out hunting. If so Im sure to post.
Still in the process of figuring out how to post pictures. Shouldnt be long now lol
