I am sure there are alot of these larger Canadian cures around but its the first one I have seen, guess I have been spending to much time collecting bitters [8|] Anyway I won it on Ebay, the seller told me that the last one he saw auctioned went for $150.
I won this for $38 [:D] embossed on the front "VEGETABLE DISCOVERY" sides read "AND DYSPEPTIC CURE" and "NORTHROP & LYMANS"

THOMAS ECLECTRIC OIL

FOSTER. MILBURN & CO

Two companies producted the Eclectric OiL, Northrop & Lyman
and Fostor Milburn, Toronto Canada, established a branch office in
Buffalo city in the late 1870's. Fate of the Toronto office is unknown, the Buffalo office was still in operation in 1965, according to the Buffalo city directory.
Northrup& lymand produced the oil in ca. 1871 to ca 1980. The bottles had the same general configuration from before the 1880's
until a standard shaped dispensing oval was adopted for the product
some time around the time of WW2. The Dominion Glass Co.
inventory of mould equiptment in 1926 indicates that the firm
was apparently still producing hand finished Eclectric oil bottles
