Nice soda / Hard to find

Acquired this sweet li'l soda today - Francis Matthews / Oakville pint soda, hand-finished top. Looks like Mr. Matthews made soda water, mineral water and ginger beer in the town of Brampton, between 1881-1891, then sold that business in 1892. He re-opened another soda bottling works in 1898 and ran it until 1904, in Oakville, Ontario.

Nice work, on putting all pieces of the puzzle together on the history of the bottle. Lately I've been asking the mayor of our town if he knows anybody from the town where the bottle came from. When he does he gives the bottle to them and they seems really appreciate it.
