It appears to be an old olive oil bottle. No seams, you say? I don't see any mark of a pontil from viewing the bottle through the bottom part. Are you sure there aren't ANY seams?

Nope, don't feel or see any seams... and the bottom just feels like a few little pin pokes sticking out....smooth not rough

I have three bottles that look just like that all slighty different, only they all have seems of some kind. But Now I don't have to ask what they are for . Thanks.

I have a late 1800's whiskey bottle with no seams I was told it was spun in the mold to remove the seams
