Gary Puckett and the Union Gap made it a smash hit but Jim Glaser wrote it. If you had never heard of him the man can sing.He has a very wide range and its unwavering and the pitch is perfect. My daughter who is a semi professional singer can tell if a person hits all of the notes properly. Also when someone brings you to cry when they are singing they have touched an emotional side hard to get to in the toughest of souls.Jim wrote Woman Woman for Gary Puckett and the Union Gap and it became a smash hit and is still played today heavily on the oldies channels.I have to say I always liked Minnesotan Gary Puckett but Jim's version at 75 years of age gives it a run for its money. What a song they don't make um like this anymore.
