Picked this one up the other day and just scratching my head on it. It is a patent office bottle, 12oz and a ndnr. Does anyone know what years they would have used the bottles like this one. Thanks for the help.
Curb your enthusiasm Mr. Nickle. inserting a completely unrelated personal sales item in another member's thread could be considered the heighth of electronic gaucherie.
Dragon: As you probably know ... 1. The C in-a-circle mark is Chattanooga Glass and used until 1988.2. Coca Cola introduced their "King Size" 12 Ounce bottle in 1955.3. Coca Cola introduced their first "One-Way" bottles in the early 1960s.4. There are a lot of different NDNR Coca Cola bottles including those with embossed/paper/acl/foil/ and foam labels. As for the one like yours, which might be described as a "12 ounce NDNR Hobbleskirt" all the indicators I have seen point to circa 1970. I have seen references to the 12 ounce NDNR's, but the only picture I have been able to find so far is of an 8-pack of 10 ounce NDNR bottles. Notice they are the embossed Hobbleskirt-type and not acls. I will continue to look for a picture of a 12 ounce 6-pack and post it if/when I find one. Thanks for the replys, and I think you are right on the date but I can't find anything about the 12oz size wondering if it was a short run or just a specific market. Thanks for the help.
