odd water bottle

Hey all,

Back from exam purgatory. I bought a strange looking water bottled embossed with "The Great American Florida Water Company, New York". The bottle has a long very thin neck (3/4" tops). Anyone ever heard of this type of bottle.

Hey Steve, Florida Water (I believe) is a toiletry, Cologne type substance. I dug a bottle a few months ago dating to the late 1800's. Occult shoppes still sell it for spiritual blessings and cleansings. Mine is embossed " Florida Water Murray & Lanman Druggists, New York. It is about a $7.00 - $10.00 bottle. It stands 9" tall with a 2 1/4" base. Does yours look like this? Happy Diggin, Kelley

P.S. There were some very pretty lables that accompanied these bottles and are collectible themselves.
