old bottle collector from indiana

Just registered on this site i collect old soda bottles from indiana kentucky and ohio have been in the bottle game since 1966 when i worked the pipeline constrtuction and we started trenching up old bottles just wanted to say hey

hey roger sorry i missed your post last nite 11:09 is past this old man's bedtime i read alot of the posts on this site last nite and let me tell u there are some serious bottle collectors out there. that makes an old veteran like me feel good about this hobby. i remember when you could get a fish bitters for $35-40 i was at a flea market years ago and bought a union eagle flask and a roback's barrel bitters for $40 those days are long gone how long u been collecting bottles i started back in the early 60's when i picked them up behind a ditch trencher working pipeline construction not much i remember about those bottles those were wild and wooly days lol
