I found these three bottles that look like they may have contained the same thing. One has a very small portion of the label intact. I'd love to know more about them. One even had a cap still on, though the liquid was gone.
Anytime you find the following embossing on a bottle it means that the bottle was made after 1935!
“Federal Law Forbids Sale or Reuse of this Bottle” Marking
The “Federal Law Forbids Sale or Reuse of this Bottle” phrase was required on all liquor bottles sold within the United States that were made between 1935 and 1964. However, some bottles that date up to the early 1970s have also been seen with this warning embossed on them.
