Old Whiskey ,,,,,,,,,,Added Pic

I dug this bottle up at an old turpentine distillery(long before abandoned) about 25 years ago, maybe 30

10 1/2" high,clear,corker,no mold marks on neck or top

Raised swirling upward scallops from shoulder up neck about 1/3 of the way

Diagonal layout of raised 2" high letters written in cursive,
It spells either A J Holberg & Co

or A L Holberg & Co

it also has The Originals in horizontal block letters below cursive writing 1/2 " high

I'll post a pic tomorrow,camera batteries are charging

anyone have a clue????

Couldn't find anything on AJ Holberg or AR Holberg but looks to be about 1890-1900.

I'm kinda thinking a small independent bottling /brewery that was only in existance for a short period of time and there are no records. I have researched that name everywhere I could but never on the computer,maybe I'll give that a try tomorrow but really don't know where to start.

You bottle looks more like a cordial to me, you sure it's a whiskey ?

Cordial is a syrupy flavored concentrate you mix with water to make a cool drink, there are some pretty nice cordial bottles out there, they usuly had fancy necks and interesting shapes.
