Hi All -

I recently picked up this bottle and hoped somebody might be able to provide some additional info on it. It's a large whiskey display bottle, amber ABM with ground lip, two inches short of three feet tall and it weighs 16 pounds. It has ribbed sides and embossed on the shoulder it reads 'For Display Purposes Only' and near the base is "Has Had No Peers For 50 Years'. The pic shows it between a five inch med bottle and a 15 inch demijohn. A google search revealed that it's from the Joseph Finch Co of PA and NY and mentions dates of 1935 and 1958. Any additional info appreciated.

Thanks - Sam

Hi Sam, first let me just say WOW! That is one heck of a bottle - big and beautiful, and it seems like it's in great shape. That "Has No Peers For 50 Years" slogan can be found on 1940s and 1950s Golden Wedding whiskey bottles, so it must have been the same company. Good luck finding more info on it!
