one little keeper

Found some great shards yesterday, including parts of a USA hosp. bottle but only came home with one little keeper. If you move enough dirt, you will get some rewards. They may be small........but they are still rewards![]

Thanks, if anyone knows what kind it is let me know. I have lots of marbles and should take a picture and post it to the string I've seen on here. We will have to get together and dig sometime. Steve

Hey Steve, what color was the USA Hosp. Dept. bottle? Have you got a pic of the shards you found? I have a fairly large collection of these bottles that I have dug and I have a passion for them. Thanks, Kelley

I'll let you judge, maybe I can take a picture of this piece and the top out in the sun. The top darkens as you go up like you'll see in the next post. Side note: I also dug a civil war buckle here last year but its a house site.

Man what a heartbreaker! Thanks for sharing. The pit where all mine came from had the shards of a cobalt quart in it. Talk about a grown man crying like a baby! [] Kelley
