Another attic find!

Paper label says "Juniper Berry Gin, The Pure Unadulterated for Kidney and Bladder Complaints"

Embossing on one side says "Juniper Berry Gin Bottled by Quinine Whiskey Co. Louisville, K.Y."

Embossing on the other side says "Juniper Berry Gin a Diuretic For Kidney Trouble".

The bottle is a light aqua, about 10 inches tall, and the seam does not go through the lip.

Please excuse my photos, I have clear protective plastic around the label to protect it.

Anybody have any info on this one? Value? A rare one?
Thanks again, guys...................Rick

What a crock. All gin is made with juniper berries. In Dutch, juniper is "geniver," and thats where the word gin came from. Juniper berries were used by herbalists to treat congestive heart failure, to stimulate menstration, cure gonorrhea and urinary infections, by the Indians to assist in childbirth and on and on.

I have dug the bottle before but never seen the lable. Very nice. Wish I could tell you something about that particular brand.
