Porcelain medicine bottle?

This is really odd. it is not milk glass and i have no idea what it could have been used for. It says coty and a 4 on the bottom. If anyone knows anything about this i would really appreciate it.

huh, never seen before. A pretty bottle tho, maybe perfume, toilet preparation, cosmetic? Or maybe Victorian? I did see a trade-mark for "COTY" on Google books, not sure if it's the same https://books.google.com/books?id=u...oECAQQAg#v=onepage&q=coty bottle mark&f=false

Interesting, never seen something like that in porcelain before. I think it probably is something that would sit in your bathroom cabinet, maybe tooth powder or something similar.
