Put this one up last night/early morning. I have been told it is rare, a SS Coke from Fort Meade, Fla. Not sure if there was ever a coke bottling plant in Fort Meade. If there was I don't think it was prior to 1915 when the hobble skirt came out. The town is so small if you blink your eyes driving thru you might miss it. The closes big city is Tampa about 40 miles north. I know in the 40's Arcadia, which is 40 south had a bottling plant. This may have been bottled in Tampa for sale in Fort Mead.

Lee,

I just checked on you SS Ft. Meade, it's listed as common in Porter's book.

They are listed as scarce in the 1915, & 1923, commom in the Pat-D, & 6 oz. and unknown in the 6½ oz. So it looks like they went out of business in the 50's. Good luck with the auction.
