I thought you all would like to see what impulse can do! lol I saw this great old flask at a flea market for just $90 bucks... Gee I should get that before some one scoffs it up! It is soooo crude, thin glass and even has a touch of haze in it!!! The shop keeper bubble wrapped my "prize" and on my way I go... Well when I got home I broke out American Flasks and their Ancestry by Mc Kearin/ Wilson much to my horror I learned my GI-28 was a REPRO ahhhhhh hate when that happens!! Seems like the repro is quite close to the original other then san-serif vs serif embossing and a round wanna be type pontil!! O well[:(] Taz over and out!!

I know Woody! But it looked like some smooth based type thing! Well off to the rock pile so I can buy more! Have a great day... Taz

Nice looking repro Taz. Very easy to get caught out these days. Ebay is swamped with sellers trying to pass off repros as the real thing. Pot lids are a huge scam on eBay.
