The "federal law prohibits..." statement indicates that it it's from the 1930s-1960s when that statement was required on all liquor bottles sold in the US. Definitely not a bottle which was made in the US though, it's a European-made bottle intended for export.

I don't know much about Foreign Bottles but agree with CanadianBottles. Leon.
