Yeah...but the rest of the items at least have some age to them. Rock Island I am sure knows those bottles are not original but they certainly didn't bother to say that in their listing.

It's not a good practice for selling, I agree, but if you know the lingo it's sort of upfront. None of that was likely used in the American civil war but some may have been, who knows.I think the problem will be if/when the lot sells for $100 and gets resold. Even $800 is a bit strong for no proof Civil War-Style items.
