There was an article in Old Bottle Magazine back in the 70s on digging in the Canal Zone that pictured an F. A. Conant from New Orleans with a ring or donut top and a big ol' open pontil. Dang, what a bottle!

That would be a great one for sure Jimbo! I love looking thru some of the old mags, I have several from the early 80's. It makes you wonder where some of that stuff ended up...

Shoot I lived in the Canal Zone in the 70s. Sadly I had stopped digging bottles while I was there. I had joined a rock club of all things. I might have found me some good bottles too. I did find a ship cannon. I was way to heavy to move though and in a remote area.
