Got a tip about a large dump by a river near me and decided to check it out yesterday. Lots of shards, dug about 4-5 feet down and into the bank. Lots of broken china. Thought it may have been dug, but ash layer is undisturbed. Found a few items and believe it warrants further investigation. The aqua ink is BIM with a crude lip, the center ink is a Carter's BIM, and the right is an ABM Sanford. The other pic is a slick medicine and a strap sided flask both BIM.

looks like it certainly bears promise.

riverside dump I've been digging is only sending up 20s-30s screw tops, but might go older - need it to dry out before I head back and see if the storms washed enough away to uncover new ones [:D]

I saw one of thse aqua BIM inks yesterday at an antique mall for 1.00 ... should I have scarfed it up ?

keep posting, love to see dig stories and finds, keeps me motivated.
