I think that old advertisement says it all []. Lighter fluid bottle, from the 40's or 50's I'm guessing. You can still buy the stuff today, but now it comes in a can or plastic bottle.

Actually I use it in My zippo all the time But now it comes in this ugly yellow plastic bottle.
