That’s to good of a dig zone to just give up on that easy. Go talk to the head dude, do what you need to do. What do you have to loose by asking, what do you have to gain by not???. Take a couple of bottles to show him, explain what your doing & share your passion, assure him any holes you dig will be properly filled, keep it simple. You'll either be well respected by asking and get the go ahead or simply be turned down, it could go either way. Some of my most technical permission where I though I hadn’t a chance ended up all good, real good.........
