found at 10th and Mission st. at low income housing project in down town SF. i got lucky findin these cuz they were underneath a pile of old concrete and rebar bound for the fill piles at mission bay.(near Giants stadium).Doing pipefitting work in SF i find many bottles but mostly busted up.i feel i got lucky this time..one is a 12 sided mineral water:JN Gerdes,a med that says Dickeys Chemist,and a busted Baldwins Ointment i think..

I just bought the Dickey's on Ebay for $11.50...So it's worth at least that much.
The Soda, that might be a real find! I'm sure one of the Cali experts will have an opinion.

Nice save. I'm pretty sure that soda is listed as scarce, so good find. And I've got my eye out for one of those Dickeys after seeing the one Oldtimer posted.

The broken bottle is a S. D. Baldwin Liniment Marysville.

Funny after all these years my digging buddy stopped by Sunset Scavenger after the Vallejo show and found an 1890s McMillan & Kester jake on one of the piles...

Nice finds, that site was HEAVILY guarded when the initial excavation was happening. We decided to pass on that lot, wonder what bottles we missed.................................

theres gonna be a big hospital job goin on real soon on corner of 16th n 3rd.Big lot..not sure what used to be there...but i know theyll be breakin ground soon.

That area is all 19th century dump full of bottles.
