yup...they do turn up...i know of at least 5 cannon balls i've left.
just leave them behind due to weight..and no market for them..too much work to get em back.

the blue hamilton was a codd....dan rylands. 2nd broken one i've found in that spot...i found an intact one somewhere else...
the hybrid is the typical niagra version, the other codds were bermudian named ones.

i've never had an issue with musket balls..unless we're talking lead poisoning...lol
all the cannon balls i've found seem to be of the solid iron variety...so no chance of explosions.
I'll be back in the water diving for bottles in a couple of weeks off Eastport, Maine. Just a tad bit cooler water than in Bermuda at a chilly 46f right now but it'll reach 52f by the end of September. []
