I found this in the river today also, not old, but unusual to me. I began drinking Miller beer over 30 yrs ago. I have never seen them in brown bottles. This also appears to have been a screw cap bottle. The threading appears to be too deep for a regular twist off. Did they once make a screw on lid that could be removed and replaced. Like I said it is a curiosity to me, just looking for some input.
