Here are some more of my bottles that I said I would post. I can no longer keep a lot of my collection. Attached are photos, but if you need some more, let me know. All 3 bottles will be shipped together, so if you like what you see, send me an e-mail. All bottles will be bubble wrapped securely, and shipped priority mail with delivery confirmation all in one box. The price for shipping will be a standard $12 additional to the sale price and can be shipped to anywhere in the USA.
If you are interested in this lot of 3 bottles, please e-mail a suggested price you would be willing to pay. Highest offer willing to pay per paypal - money order or cashiers check, will receive the bottles. I will be accepting offers until April 8th. After that, I will notify you if your offer is the chosen offer.
I accept paypal, and money orders/cashier checks.
Here are the descriptions:
Left bottle:
This bottle is a clear bottle and has no embossing except for the bottom. The top has some small fractures all around the lip. When turned over, the bottom says Wausau Beverage CO. in a semi circle around the top
below that - the Owens Illinois symbol with a 9 n the left and 6. on the right
below that - CAP. 7 FL. OZS
below that - Duraglass
below that - G338-1.
below that in a semi circle - Wausau, WIS
This bottle has some scratches and marks on it, but it also has not been cleaned the greatest, but what you see is what you get.
Middle bottle:
This is a clear bottle that has a bit of a different style around the shoulders. I like to refer to it as the inner tube look.
On the front it says
C.L. Hansen
Menominee
MICH.
When you tip it, on the bottom you see the Owen Illinois glass symbol with a 9 on the left and an 8 on the right
Below that - Contents
Below that - 7 Fl. OZ.
and below that in a semi circle - Registered
There are some scratches and little pits out of it, and it looks like it may have gone through the refill machines by the looks of the shoulder, but all in all...I think it's in fair to good condition...afterall, it's been stuck in the ground for nearly 60 years.
Right bottle.
This bottle is a bit a of an aquamarine green. Around the shoulder it has the embossing of
Durco
Brand
Waukegan, ILL
at the foot on the front, it says 7 FLD. OZ.
on the foot at the back it reads - Durkin Ice Cream Co.
and under that are a few little numbers, that look like it might be a 23 91
When turned over, there is a large D.B. on the bottom.
When standing upright, you can see that at the very bottom of the base, the glass is bowed inward a little, it isn't just straight at the base.
This bottle is not in the best condition, it has a large interior fracture on the right back side, but I still like this bottle because the text embossing is still highly visible and the fact that it says that it is from an ice cream company makes it one of my more unique ones from my collection.
If you have any questions, or would like more photos, do not hesitate to ask.
Thanks everyone, and keep an eye out, I will be eliminating more bottles from my collection soon.
