Hi, I have decided to sell some of my bottles....included in this sale are:
1. soda/pop bottles (NDNR pepsi/coke), orange crush, wilson gingerale, sprite,
2. MOM bottles (variety of sizes)
3. old medicine bottles (with embossing - large selection, please let me know if there is anything in particular you are looking for)
4. milk bottles (some with embossing, again let me know if there is anything in particular you are looking for)
5. gin bottles
6. amber bottles (lots of selection, some with embossing)
7. some beautiful chemist bottles with stoppers - perfect condition
8. old medicine bottles with labels
9. aqua bottles - large selection
10. javex bottles - large selection/different sizes
11. white glass/cold cream jars
12. noxzema jars (some with lids)
13. a few green glass bottles
14. a large selection of cobalt bottles (various sizes)
15. Eaton's Jar's

I have over 1000 bottles and need to downsize my collection.

you might try an "Antique Bottle Yard sale" - I had one recently and did fairly well as I had posted it on Kijiji as well as setting up signs. I did well enough with commons that I'm definitely going to do it again. I might have one more before the snow flies....probably around the 1st of November.

Otherwise, definitely post some pics on here so folks can see what you've got. I'll be posting a bunch on eBay over the next little while - trying to downsize and make a bit of extra cash. I can no longer justify bringing bottles home - I just have way too many! I've actually sent a number of boxes of commons to the recycler. I guess in keeping what I like, I've discovered I like too much!

Good luck selling and finding a privy. I know of a few potential spots but haven't probed them for a privy so nothing I could point you to. Obviously, any homestead that appears over 100 yrs old and then, as others have already said, ask for permission.
