I belonged to a bottle club back in the 1970's. We never had the resource for sharing information as we have today on the internet. I am amazed at the wealth of information being shared on this web site, from around the world, even! My congratulations for an interesting and informative forum. All my bottles are gone now, I collected Zanesville and Ohio swirled bottles and flasks, BIM figurals and coloured chestnuts. I have learned more from this site than I have shared, and the knowledge of some of the members astounds me. I hope to be able to answer some member questions with the fragments of memories that still remain about my ealier specialties in bottle collecting. It is a pleasure to see the excitement of new collectors researching their finds and getting responses. As the old saying goes, "Bottle collectors are happiest when they are down in the dumps!"[
