Shelfware, turned, iron pontil

Unique bottle here that I believe is a Shelfware or shop furniture bottle (https://sha.org/bottle/medicinal.htm#Shop Furniture) that has what I would call a puce color with an iron Pontil. There is no seam whatsoever so I think it is turned as well. Riter Brothers opened in 1891. Would you agree with my synopsis and if not, why? I acquired this and two other Pontil scarred Utah bottles a few years back from a prominent Utah collector (Dave Emmett) that sadly passed away last Oct. From what I’ve seen, Utah Pontils are pert near unheard of.

I remember reading a general history of pontils and it said most utilitarian bottles stopped being made with pontils around the mid-1850's but specialty bottles like those for pharmacies kept being made this way well into the first decade of the 20th century.

I have definitely seen pharma/lab bottles from the late 19th century with pontils. For some reason they kept using empontiling methods much later on those bottles.
