Hello...Has anyone ever seen a flask like this. Its a clear ABM coffin flask which stands 5 1/5 inches tall, 3/4 inches thick, 2 3/8 inches wide at the shoulders, and it has an F on the base. Theres not much room inside the flask for very much liquid. What would the value of this flask be? Thanks everyone.

Kevin

Hi Kevin, the flask may have been used for cosmetics in addition to being used for a little "nip." I really suspect that these very small flasks were used for cosmetics, mainly because we rarely even see them.

Most of these flasks that I have had with the original label contained castor oil. Slimdigger

Hi., I would bet there are more "F" trademarks, but my notes only show 1930-1945
"The Works", Fairmont. And FGW used 1898 to 1930, 1945 and 1960 "F" is in a hegagon or like same. Didn't note the State.

Hi Kevin, Slimdigger is dead on as I just dug one exactly like yours today and it still contained the oil. The only difference between yours and mine is the bottle manufacturer. Mine was made by Owens Illinois (cirrca 1929). I don't believe there is much monetary value as they are an unembossed, clear, ABM bottle. Happy Diggin, Kelley
