We made a scramble to get the remaining things out of my great grandmothers property before it is turned over to her second daughter. Two cast iron pot belly stoves, a historic Texas bushel basket, old crates, a rare Texas book, a primitive grain bin on legs, and a Nacogdoches, Texas chicken coop. It’s hard to accept you can’t take everything. Stay tuned for more pictures of these heirlooms.

All of these for free too! There must be $1,000 of stuff that was taken. But money doesn’t really matter, noting gets sold, all stays with me till my downfall of life, and then goes to a museum. These items are all family heirlooms from a family and homestead which is long gone and deserve their best continuous life.

I don’t know if the date of the license plate correlates to the approximate age of this piece. Whatever the case is, I would say it’s a desirable piece of || furniture <- (?). That’s what I will be calling it, I am making space for it in my tiny room filled to the brim with antiques. It will be used to store bottles. A common trend I see is, primitive looking stuff is generally desirable. People like the old farmhouse type stuff.
