Got this medicine off fleabay.
Enbossed SMITH'S COMPOUND DR E S POWERS BROCKTON MASS.
I have found a couple references to Powers but nothing about this medicine. Anyone ever see one?

I live in RI and Brockton isn't all that far away from me, and I've never seen one. Now that doesn't mean it's rare, but it's at least uncommon. Nice looking bottle, too.

I have a lot of bottles that are much more mysterious.
At least I can confirm the maker's existence on this one.

I found Dr. E. S. Powers in the Brockton City Directory for 1890 as Manager of the Brockton Dental Associates 87 Main St.
Does this match your information?
