So hot, almost too hot to dig!

Really it's been in the 80's so many days out here I haven't really been able to dig since Late May/June. I might go as far as saying that July and probably August are not good months for digging.

Anyway, today we had some temps in the high 60's and none of that haze so here's the result of my hunt.

Hutch fragments but no complete ones.

It rained and stormed like crazy last night so I was hoping for something to have been revealed on the surface
and something was:

Im waiting for the sun to get lower, way too hot rite now, 110, then go to my new dig. might not cool down at all. We shall see....

Try living in the deep south. We have been dealing with temps 95 to 98 degrees and with the heat index 105 to 113. I usually don't dig in this heat but might try a creek walk in the next week or two. That's a nice surface find, I have not got to dig in six months or more and I can't wait to start pulling bottles out of the ground again.
